Irma Vasquez - Healthy Workers Story

Irma Vasquez, a manager at Central Wholesale Nursery, echoes much of the same sentiment about Healthy Workers as Wazni. She too learned of the new program on a newscast and immediately brought it to the attention of the nursery’s owner. “It sounded like a good deal,” says Vasquez. She explains that the business did not offer health insurance in the past due to cost. “It was just too expensive,” she says. Approximately five of Vasquez’s employees have enrolled in Healthy Workers since it came available. “It feels good to provide Healthy Workers. It’s always nice to know we can provide coverage,” she says.
