Santa Clara Family Health Foundation’s 11th Annual Wine Tasting to benefit the Healthy Kids Program

On September 23, 2012, Santa Clara Family Health Foundation will host its 11th Annual Wine Tasting Benefit for Healthy Kids. It will be held at the breath-taking Thomas Fogarty Winery in Woodside. Overlooking beautiful vineyards, attendees will dine on a special menu from Le Papillon and taste various varietals from over a dozen wineries from the Napa Valley to the Santa Cruz Mountains. There will be a live and silent auction of fine wine and other pieces.  The funds raised will contribute to the Healthy Kids program in Santa Clara County, which provides medical, dental, and vision care to over 6,500 low-income children each month.

2011 Applied Materials Silicon Valley Turkey Trot
Run or Walk for Health, Hope, and a Home

On Thursday, November 24, 2011, over 22,000 community members ran, jogged, or walked at Applied Materials Silicon Valley Turkey Trot on Thanksgiving Day. That is over a 50% growth of participants from last year! All proceeds of the event went directly to three charities – Santa Clara Family Health Foundation, Second Harvest Food Bank, and the Housing Trust of Santa Clara County. Last year, the Silicon Valley Turkey Trot, founded and produced by the Silicon Valley Leadership Group, raised $450,000 for all three charities.  This year, over $600,000 was raised for all three charities!  Thank you to all of the sponsors, participants and volunteers of the event.
