State and Federal legislation that could ensure 100% coverage for the children of Santa Clara County is in jeopardy. The private sources of funds that support our Healthy Kids program are being stretched very thin, and we may need to reduce the number of kids we can cover.

8th Annual Wine Event to support the Healthy Kids Program
A good time was had by all 200 guests during the Eighth Annual Wine Event at Fogarty Winery on September 13, 2009. The event was a fundraiser to support Santa Clara Family Health Foundation and their mission to make sure every child in Santa Clara County has health coverage.

All poured their best wines all afternoon and added auction items to help raise additional funds for children. Scott Budsman was the MC, Chris Wilder was the auctioneer, Narsai David donated a case of his wine, Jim Beall made jewelry for the auction, and Elaine Alquist painted a watercolor of flowers.
